A Complete Language Arts Program for Homeschool Students

At The Literacy Lighthouse, we provide a comprehensive English Language Arts course designed to support homeschool families with high-quality, engaging instruction.

What To Expect

Students attend a 2-hour weekly class that covers Reading, Writing, Grammar, and Language Arts skills throughout the school year.

Our lessons are intentionally designed to build strong literacy foundations while helping students grow in confidence, independence, and academic success. Through small-group instruction and meaningful learning experiences, students receive the support they need to thrive.

Small Groups, Personalized Support

We believe students learn best when they are actively engaged and supported. Our small-group setting allows for meaningful interaction, individualized guidance, and opportunities for every student to participate.

Reinforcing Learning at Home

Students receive weekly homework assignments that reinforce classroom instruction and provide opportunities for additional practice. Assignments are purposeful, manageable, and designed to strengthen mastery of the skills taught each week.

Tracking Student Growth

Throughout the school year, students complete three state-aligned progress monitoring assessments. These assessments help measure growth, identify areas for improvement, and ensure students are making progress toward grade-level expectations.
